Five Phrases that Describe Us

“A small church with a big heart,
an old church with a bright future,
a reverent church with a joyful spirit,
a biblical church with a risen Savior,
a faithful church with a mission from God”

These are all phrases one might use to describe our church.

Although we are a small church, we have a caring fellowship and outreach that impacts many people.  Our smallness allows us to give a big friendly welcome to visitors, personal attention to each member, a sense of family and belonging to those who seek relationship with Christ and His Church, and a place of ministry where one can really make a difference.

We are one of the oldest churches in our area, founded in 1792 and worshiping in the current building since 1895, with a rich heritage and Presbyterian traditions of community service, beautiful music, inspiring worship, and opportunities for children, young people, and all ages to get involved.  But we also have a bright future, with new programs for young families and youth as we are growing in faith, numbers, and outreach to our community.

We are a reverent church in awe of God.  But we have a lot of joyful fun and fellowship together as His beloved children.

We are a biblical church, centered on Jesus Christ our risen Savior and Lord, with Bible-based messages, small group Bible study, a dependence on prayer, and a desire to grow spiritually.

And we are a faithful church, responding to God’s love in Jesus Christ by reaching out in mission to those in need, physically or spiritually, with the love of Christ.

If you don’t have a church home, or are interested in learning more about a relationship with Jesus Christ, please contact our Pastor, Charlie Winkelman – he would love to talk with you!

May God bless you and yours this day and always.
